With the move to the new 54,000 sq. ft. headquarters effectively consolidates all of our manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing under one roof.
The new NUTRITECH® HQ is based in the Eastern Cape, in the heart of Port Elizabeth and we believe that this environment will help forge a healthier relationship with our team and everyone we work with.

Over the six short years there have been many reflection points, and this is certainly one of them. NUTRITECH® is arguably the largest South African performance sports and nutritional supplementation manufacturer and we are continuing to grow. Where other brands outsourced, we in-sourced and we believe that it has paid off. We chase excellence in nutrition and not profits.

The NUTRITECH® Manufacturing Facility, internally dubbed NT LABS, is 100% air conditioned and air filtered; positive and negative air pressures, ensure every product is manufactured in a climate controlled and safe work environment.
Dedicated manufacturing lines, together with a raw material warehouse, housing only items we manufacture which means cross contamination can never occur and all products are manufactured in an environment that is safe for sport. The NT LABS currently holds cGMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and FDA Accreditation, and is currently in the final stages of MCC analysis and accreditation.
To ensure the quality of raw materials on hand we have on premises our Bruker Alpha FTIR Spectrometer operated by the NUTRITECH® Responsible Pharmacist and his team. This allows us to, at any point, analyze, verify, quantify and identify raw materials from our various suppliers in our supply chain to ensure the quality is always consistent and of the highest standards.
Motion sensor lights throughout facility along with skylights mean efficient use of power and consideration for the environment.
Controlled flow of access in and out of the site ensures tighter security and safety.
Approximately 100 people work at the new NUTRITECH® Headquarters.
ISO 22000 - Food Safety Management including HACCP & cGMP
The consequences of unsafe food can be serious and ISO’s food safety management standards help organizations identify and control food safety hazards. As many of today's food products repeatedly cross national boundaries, International Standards are needed to ensure the safety of the global food supply chain.
The ISO 22000 family contains a number of standards each focusing on different aspects of food safety management.
A cGMP is a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards.
HACCP is a management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product.
